The US Men’s National Team pulled off a brilliant second half against Honduras to land a spot in the World Cup Finals this summer.
Connor Casey, who started in Lieu of yellow-card magnet Jozy Altidore, was at his absolute best, scoring twice to pull the US up from what was looking like a sure win for Honduras.

Landon Donovan’s surgical precision on a free kick delivered a game winner as the Hondurans struggled in the final minutes for an equalizer that never came. 3-2, USA.
Afterthought: why on earth was this game not aired on American television? Not even PPV. Unbelievable. Even if it were a matter of Honduras not wanting to sell broadcast rights, it makes no sense. If this game had been available on PPV it would have made a great deal of money for the rights holders. Makes no sense.
