Donovan is the lifeblood of the National squad. All Galaxy-induced biases aside, we believe that Donovan has found his calling as a team leader. He is a fast, scrappy playmaker who can do just about anything on the field from set pieces to counter-attacks to collaborative efforts. USA AMONG THE ANNOINTED 32

The US Men’s National Team pulled off a brilliant second half against Honduras to land a spot in the World Cup Finals this summer.

Connor Casey, who started in Lieu of yellow-card magnet Jozy Altidore, was at his absolute best, scoring twice to pull the US up from what was looking like a sure win for Honduras. (more…)
