How did Real Madrid lose so badly to Alcorcon? And why are we expecting the Segunda B underdogs to give Barcelona a run for their money?

More impressive than a single 4-0 blowout is the fact that Alcorcon was able to hold Kaká, van Nistelrooy, Higuain, Raúl, and Van der Voort to one measly goal in two games. The final 4-1 aggregate was a historic result. Real Madrid had nowhere to go but down and Alcorcon had the benefit of being insignificant, unpredictable, and, evidently, unstoppable.
